| Comment | Usually alright, but have once had it cancelled at Preston which was annoying. At least there's a decent pub at Preston station. Usually catered too if you fancy a cup of tea/coffee or a cheeky alcoholic drink on the train.
Alternatively you can take the Avanti West Coast (as long as you have a valid ticket) to Lancaster and then change there which I do often when travelling home to Grimsby via Manchester Piccadilly. |
