| Comment | Russia will have tier 1, tier 2 etc targets just like America has. I don’t think any nuclear exchange would be a full on nuke every city in the world thing. If it did happen, there’s the potential of a tit for tat response.
Say Putin nukes a US base in Turkey, Biden might nuke a couple of Russian ICBM silos first rather than a full barrage of 2,000 warheads and a hundred megadeaths.
Ukraine is not a nuclear state, so theoretically by the Non Proliferation Treaty it can’t be nuked. Putin doesn’t seem much of a man of his word, but the entire chain of command in Russia can’t be so unhinged. |
