| Comment | I never found anyone reputable when I was going through this :( Loads of clinics charging money for things they couldn’t back up with pictures or evidence (Skn Clinic on Gordon Street in particular- stay well away). I went to so many consultations and wasn’t convinced by any of them. Ended up doing loads of research and asking the doctor for prescriptions while putting together my own simple skincare routines. If you’re looking for surfacing stuff like peels etc I would really recommend La Belle Forme- lovely staff, very professional and provide effective treatments. But for hormonal acne your best bet is speaking to your GP for something like a contraceptive pill or Spironolactone. Also have heard tretinoin is good for hormonal, you can get it through Skin + Me, an online company that has been recommended by the likes of Caroline Hirons. |
