Are there any other benefits to the new job e.g. better pension etc? Last year I took a significant cut in salary but the pension was 10x better at my new place so worked out pretty much the same. Anyway, it is well worth it to do something you enjoy more but also depends on numerous aspects like opportunities for progression, job security, sound colleagues etc.
