1. Just use the app, buy your ticket before hand, you will get a QR code and that removes 90% or your worries and stress. What is your regular journey/route we can better help with more info?

2. cheapest way is via the app. In the near future “tap and cap” will be the cheapest and easiest way when it goes live.

3. you or somebody at the stop flags down the bus by extending your hand. If you don’t, and nobody is getting off you run the risk of the bus flying by.

4. most buses stop at all bus stops along the route. Main exception being the city centre where the stops are split to reduce congestion.

First bus have [help cards](https://www.firstbus.co.uk/uploads/node_images/Extra-Help-To-Travel-Cards-a19.pdf) on their website that you can flash to the driver. Alternatively to ease your social anxiety, hang at the back of the queue so you don’t feel rushed by people behind you, and just let the driver know your hearing isn’t the best when you get on. Then ask for some help with your journey.. i.e fares or where to get off.
