You could just read about this rather than be so confidently wrong. The law says you can't have white/black-only gyms because they don't want to be seen to be encouraging Jim Crow laws. However, you can open x-ethnicity only memberships to places such as gyms, i.e. Asian only, African American only and so on. Stupidly though, you could still call the African American only gym something like "Black Gym Club" so long as your seen to make the decision based on ethnic background rather than skin colour.

Clubs, associations and charities set up especially for people of a particular ethnic or national group are allowed to discriminate in some circumstances. They can discriminate against you because of your nationality or ethnic or national origin. However, they are not allowed to discriminate against you because of your colour.

What has changed?
