Do you think that the term junkie is more used in regards to a manner of behaviour whilst addicted as opposed solely to addiction.
For example most would refer to a person engaging in ASB in the community a junkie, whereas someone who is a high functioning addict, holding down a job and engaging with others etc, would not be considered a junkie and merely someone with a problem?
I think most people don’t have an issue with addiction but the anti social behaviour that some people become involved in. |
