Take a trip to Loch Lomond - you can go to Luss for a wee wander or if you want somewhere quieter a wander at Firkin Point is lovely.

If you're driving, going south can be surprisingly beautiful. Grey Mare's Tail near Moffat is a lovely drive and you can get a decent lunch in the town.

If she's an Outlander fan, take her to Falkland Palace. Falkland was used as Inverness and the Palace is really interesting, has one of the last quire screens in scotland if I remember correctly. You're also not far from the bunker up that way which is fascinating if a little too close to home right now. Oh and St Andrews is up that wayish too so a nice visit.
