It's like a and e but as it sounds, for more minor stuff like broken toes and bones rather than heart attacks. You tend to be seen quicker than a and e and it takes the pressure off them. It's got shorter opening hours than a and e as well. Sometimes NHS 24 route you that way - but you can also just rock up and wait.
