Comment | While it's not an actual party I'd argue that Paul Sweeney is a very 'Glasgow' politician.
Other than that Scotland tends to be more centralised and less 'regional' in my view than say England or Ireland. Even somewhere like Shetland which is far off the British mainland has no 'official' regional party despite it being probably more distant and less influential in Scottish politics, where as a lot of Scottish political and cultural life revolves around Glasgow. |
