Lived in London for 7 years. Started off using the train/flying but ended up driving whenever I came back to Glasgow. As long as you leave early enough to avoid peak times in a London in the morning/afternoon it takes about the same time as trekking to Euston and getting the train. Plus you don’t have to drag a suitcase about.
