| Comment | There’s been multiple times when I’ve waited for an Uber and had multiple drivers pick up and then cancel 5 minutes later and then when you go to rebook it’s surge pricing.
Uber should make a feature that if a driver picks up on the fare you agreed, if they cancel you can rebook at the first fare you agreed. Doubt they would do it tho because it would make them less money.
I was in Germany recently and you actually prepay the Ubers there, so much better as the driver doesn’t take you all ways to get the fare up and it’s not impacted by drivers cancelling and triggering surge pricing. |
