| Comment | No, it's not. There's been threads on this before. It costs the city money. It inconveniences residents. It doesn't provide businesses with any noticeable increase in trade (in fact, harms a lot of them with street closures) and not so long ago some poor car owners had their vehicles moved streets away without notice or permission. I'm sure those who got parking tickets found that more than "a tad annoying."
Edit to say: it'll be good for the folk from the city who get to work on set for a major movie though. |
