Genuine question: is there a misogyny problem in Scotland?

There was a piece on Radio Scotland today about new misogyny legislation and people were discussing it. One caller made it seem like it was a rampant occurrence that women faced every day and used male schoolkids not wearing masks and female schoolkids wearing them in the classroom as an example of internalised misogyny. Another text from a female listener said that Scotland wasn't misogynistic at all.

Having spoken with my female family and friends, I've not heard any stories of hate or violence towards women being directed at them. I have no-to-limited experience being a white male, so was looking to find out more to see if it's a problem I don't know about.

Could anyone direct me to any data, experiences or stories so I could find out more?
