I hadn't noticed that, [that's a good shout](https://www.firstbus.co.uk/uploads/node_images/greater-glasgow/0196%20First%20GAE%20A5%20Lft%20with%20Timetables%20Oct21%20OL.pdf) if you need to swap buses.

Buchanan Bus Station has buses that go *anywhere* in Glasgow, but for 2 Adults alone it's not worth it if you don't need to swap (The toddler goes free regardless)

It depends really on how much heavy lifting the 'A lot of luggage' is doing. While the Airport 500 is expected to cope with luggage, you might not want to swap to local buses if you can't stow most of it under your seat or you might be taking up buggy/wheelchair space.

Again, as with what other ppl said. Taxi is the guaranteed way of doing it with all your luggage. However, landing at 4pm, getting in the taxi after 5pm, will see you sitting in rush hour traffic. And it's by far the most expensive option.
