In our close, two people moved out at 600pcm and just went up last month for 1100pcm, 2 international students are in now, happy to pay it for 8 months or so, as they're absolutely loaded.

I think there's also been a culture shift recently in people buying their first flat in the city then moving out to a 3/4 bed in the country but keeping the flat on as a rental. But its one less house on the market and the supply hasn't caught up! Scottish gov inaction as per usual.
