You need to book a pcr at randox or somewhere similar the day before you travel. They’ll email you the results and you just show that at check in (I didn’t print them). You can request printed proof of vax or show it on the app, but sometimes the app fails if it’s not connected to WiFi and says you don’t meet vaccinated criteria. So I’d suggest getting a paper copy as some states require proof of vax to eat inside etc.

I flew to early morning to the states via London and checked in 1hr30 before my flight. Was just the right amount of time. Covid documents add like a minute to your checkin time. As another poster mentioned BA tried to push the verifly app on me but I didn’t download it and didn’t need it any point.
