There will likely be another significant increase in October. This would be the cost that would affect your budget the most - rent and council tax won’t change over the year, but your fuel will.
A modern property will have lower bills as you don’t need to run the heating as long. There are a lot of older, poorly insulated flats in Glasgow and heating them can cost a fortune. Build in some contingency to your budget to reflect this. |
