Thanks, hadn't heard of Shilling, have been to Platform once for some food.

I guess I was just spoilt in Beeston where there were four top quality pubs in the village all selling changing ales, a brewery tap, and then easily six more generic places with the warning signs out (Sky Sports).

Glasgow just doesn't have the density of quality, y'know? Yesterday we were lamenting the lack of any beer garden nearby. I never noticed it before we moved south, but now it's apparent. Could also be a function of my now being old.
