Encouraging some to act violently towards a family like the one OP has described is incredibly stupid. Not everyone wants to react with aggression. And most times all it does is escalate things. It’s always best to follow the legal advice and try and minimise the sound entering your home. I’ve been there with practically every neighbour I’ve had.
