It can be a long wait for Community Mental Health Teams (6 months?) and will depend how affected your pal is by their mental health just now. I can recommend Lifelink who do short term interventions (like 6 sessions or so) and clients can self refer - although I don't think Lifelink will see someone who is acutely unwell - more for those who have an enduring mood disorder like depression or anxiety etc. |
