| Comment | Long range is, for fairly obvious reasons, less accessible than stuff like 25m and below. If you're willing to do that though (at least to start), it's an option.
I've been to two clubs in the area, Wishaw and District, and Bearsden.
W&D use the TA range in Motherwell, which isn't really that pleasant - there's no separate clubhouse bit attached, and a maximum of 3 (I think) shooting at once.
Bearsden is a bit better (although I've not been there in the last decade, and even that was with a tenant club), it's a lot more comfortable, and more people (5-ish) can shoot at once.
I was thinking of getting back into it for a while, but can't really justify the expense/hassle at the moment: let me know if you find something good though. |
