i adopted my (fucking massive) boy from a branch down south a few years ago and a factor really helped me take the plunge with a hardwork dug was the the frank and factual 'report cards' from his foster homes. Things like "likes fish, hates flat nosed breeds, dislikes tall men" were all invaluble insights. A dog that hasnt been evaluated in a home enviroment is ofcourse more of an unknown risk and that will put many people off older, bigger, less popular breed of dogs.

You get a short term wee pal, dug gets out of jail for abit, new owners get important insights as to the dugs character n foibles. itsa win-win-win. |
