| Comment | I'd say if you're replacing multiple sockets you should also be doing a ring continuity test, and if you're not replacing like for like (adding potential extra load beyond the rating) then it's definitely in sparky territory just for safety checks - 90% chance it would be fine, but you're relying on the previous guy having balanced everything correctly |
