| Comment | I bought a house 18 months in the Newton Mearns at a high-ish price bracket. Bid on 5 properties and had a good look at 10 more. I paid 11% over HR.
I went back and checked the others I was interested in and lost out on. Of the 14, the highest over HR was 20% (one place) and the lowest was under 5% (I think 4 of them. Most were between 5 and 12% over HR.
This was for places with HR between 400 and 500k in a very competitive area. |
