I’d recommend trying to book the Ox and Finch which is a short taxi distance away. After that there’s a few bars in Finnieston personally I’d recommend the Kelvinhall Cafe which is a short walk from ox and finch. The bar is Expensive but being from Toronto you’ll know all about that :)
It’s the opposite side of the city from me so I’ll leave other bar recommendations to the folks of the west end
