Ryanair send the same email asking you to be at the airport 3 hours before departure (for a Glasgow to dublin flight). It’s because of covid precautions, they have less staff running the security I think. Anyway, I’ve always gotten there at the normal 2hrs ish early and I’ve never spent longer than 15 minutes getting through security, and that was for flights at all times of the day. I think the emails are just to cover them so if it is busy and less lanes are open, it’s not their fault if you’re late.

I suppose take it with a grain of salt, but also don’t arrive too close to the boarding time!
