I booked my appointment and had my consultation within 3 weeks.
It involved completing 5 questionnaires (combination of multiple choice and free text)
There was an extra questionnaire someone close to me could fill out and the results go straight to the Dr.
The consultation lasted 2 hours and I received a report within a week confirming I meet the criteria for Adult ADHD/ADD and discussed treatment options. This is still very new to me as this has only happened in the last few weeks. I'm bypassing the NHS/GP and paying for the prescription on my own. The medication can range from £35-£80 a month.
The consultation cost £750
Like I said, it was expensive. But I didn't need to go through the ringer with GP's and the NHS. |
