| Comment | The police will take it seriously if you stress how it’s been ramped up since you complained and he’s now hanging about your home. Don’t make light of it when talking to the police, laugh about it or apologise (women especially do this a lot because they don’t want to be seen to be a bother, or prude-ish). It’s the police’s job to keep people safe and it’s your right not to hear constant wanking/shagging/porn through your walls and feel intimidated in your own home.
