Just completing my masters from GCU at the moment and would vouch for it 100%.
The funding and bursary thing is a nightmare are there are two different bursaries ( fees only or fees plus means tested) and absolutely NO SAAS available for any of the courses since this SSSC funding exists despite not everyone being eligible. I got fees only and had to pay £1000 each year to fill the gap but I know this has gone up to £1200 now.
The £500 you get is per placement which is kind of unfair since one placement is shorter than the other and depending on your commute/ whether or not you drive that might last you the whole time or not even make a dent.
