No, taking the ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle and then driving back to Glasgow. It's literally so much cheaper. Airfare is only around 200-300 dollars for the flight compared to the £1500 I've heard for the flight when flying directly into the UK - because the dog is flying cargo it can be seen as commercial and they'll charge a lot of tax. Again, I'm not taking my dog from the US to here but from an unlisted country (even more paperwork) and there's not a lot of info online yet about this being cheaper than flying directly into the UK apart from conversations I've had with people who've done it this way - if you ever need any more advice on that, feel free to send me a message!
