That's friggin' awesome.
You can, at the very worst, try something like the AA whilst also contacting your GP and trying to reach the folks the hospital put you in touch with (through things like this).
Also (and I am assuming gender here) maybe something like a Men's Shed?
Could you maybe try some other activity to alleviate the stress? Running is cheap and easy, you can do 5 mins or 55 mins.
