There are little alteration shops all over the place, i am sure there's one near you, or near a place you go to anyway. I have a coat with a broken zip too and I have been too lazy to have it fixed for a whole year, so I have been paying attention to the number of shops that could do it that I walk past every week. There's at least 3 around shawlands / battlefieds on the southside!
