I have no idea, and apparently it changes depending on the conductor? From my apartment to work, I always say the stop name. Sometimes it's 1.70£, sometimes 2.50£. I think it's actually 2.50£, based on the times I got it on my phone, but if I do it this way I save 80p maybe 30% of the time.
