| Comment | Yeah, that's the place. West of Vicky Road is (or was) Strathbungo. Strathbungo (now St Bride's) Primary is on Craigie Street if you want some historic evidence.
This actually causes problems because groups like Govanhill Housing Association can't operate there and the Strathbungo lot don't care about anything outwith their wee conservation area, which leads to under investment etc.
Which is why there was chat of redrawing the borders so what people *think* is Govanhill, and has many of the same issues, actually **is** Govanhill. As we left in 2019, I stopped following the issue. |
