You don't need to apologise whatsoever! Sorry, my tone might come across as a bit cold in text, and I promise that's not intentional, I just sometimes write my thoughts as they appear and just wanted to provide more context because I'm very aware that my username (which I originally made to troll The_Donald years ago) and question comes across as being at the wind up, which is really the reason I wanted to clarify more in my reply to you!

I think one of the problems now when we look back at movements like the Suffragettes and the civil rights movement especially under King in the US is that these movements fundamentally worked and accomplished their goals. Now policy makers and the key people in business are very careful in undermining the support for similar movements today because the one thing the patriarchal establishment hates is change, especially led by people they barely consider equals. It's the same thing with the labour movement following the great depression and WW2. We're now at a point where inequality is becoming greater than ever, and these movements are more relevant than ever, but at the same time the propaganda attempting to undermine them is as refined as it has ever been.

Sorry for the rather long ramble, in the midst of a long running mental health episode recently and so I have a tendency to monologue and sometimes go off in tangents that aren't related to my original point!
