I only work with facts, not conspiracies or failed logic that would lead me to believe every journalist of every "mainstream" publication was peddling an agenda that I can dispel from my living room and unverifiable alleged accounts from friends of friends.
There's always a weird arrogance to conspiracy theorists who believe that others are being fed information and can't distinguish trustworthy sources from misinformation. That only they can see the light. In reality it comes down to "that's the accepted narrative so I'll believe the opposite is true" then search for poorly attributed sources that reinforce the alternative truth they want to believe. It makes you feel smart, but the reality is you're being informed by sources that are peddling lies that they know the gullible "enlightened" will lap up.
