What we need are a decent set of post flair options, not a separate space. Then you can filter out the type of posts you don't like but leave the community intact.
If you make a new sub then you'll either have redditors complaining about posts being here or automod removing posts and that often results in people deciding Fuck It and not bothering to repost elsewhere.
