| Comment | Same thing happened to me but it was "membership cards" that gave you money off restaurants and gyms etc. This must have been about 2002 maybe. I turned up to somewhere like Gordon Street where there was a confusing talk and then a "supervisor" took me away on a bus to fuck knows where. At least a half hour on the bus. We walked around doors trying to sell these, no takers.
I didn't know where I was and had basically no money ao I just stuck it out. We didn't sell anything but I still got offered the job. Soon as I was back in the city centre I told him where to go. My feet were sore as fuck as well I remember 😩 |
