At best it's all, "I just want to listen to you, and know how you feel and I don't care what you believe in", but that's just to try to worm their own cultish thinking into you. Shite like, "It's interesting you say that, because the bible tells us (blah blah blah) and that's basically what you think anyway. Want to hang out?" Fuck that, in this world we've got all the information in the world in our pocket and not only has the belief in god/gods been overwhelmingly disproved, but chances are there's a much easier solution to your problems available through PEOPLE, not some fairy tale co-authored and edited by hundreds of people over hundreds of years. |
