I wouldn't knock someones door at 1am unless an emergency but my neighbours are old so we're all away to bed early ish. It'll be making a lot of noise to get in because you're letting it in lol
Some people get very protective/offended over how their neighbours treat their cats so probably best to jave a chat with them if approachable
