If it is the handset in your flat they are easy to swap out. I've replaced old handsets in my last two flats. You can buy replacements online. New for old will be fine too.

Just take a photo of the wiring when you open it so you know what colours go where.
If you can get a manual online for the old handset that'll help but isnt essential. |
