| Comment | It doesn't really matter all that much, *but* local employers tend to spend a bit more time recruiting students from nearby universities (e.g I studied CS at Glasgow, and we had some folks from Morgan Stanley come in to advertise their internships, give us more info on the hiring process, things like that). In that sense it can make a very very slight difference, but I also know a lot of people who got hired there that weren't local, so it's not all that substantial. |
