Returning one morning the found footprints on the roof and bonnet of his car, some bell-end had ran over the car denting it in a few places.
Upon enquiring of Strathclydes finest inside if their CCTV cameras that covered the street could shed light on upon who was the rapscallion that perpetrated this heinous crime.
When asked the surly officer at the reception desk informed my friend, "Yeah those cameras don't record, sorry".
Either they didn't record and surveillance was *very* different prior to 2001 or the officer couldn't be bothered to review footage for the minor crime, not sure which would be worse. |
