The sound will be fine. Get Indian food when you're here. Mother India, Mister Singh's... Most are fantastic. Also, get a chippy. A steak pie supper is glorious after eight or nine pints. If you're here for a few days you could probably see a fair bit of Scotland. Edinburgh is about an hour away if you're into that, Largs or Oban for the seaside and then there's always the western Isles.
