There hasn’t been any concerts at Ibrox for a while, as most artists tend to have their gigs at Hampden. Our football season is July/August - May so it doesn’t leave much room in between for concerts.

With the way the stadium will be set up, pretty much anywhere you stand/sit will be fine. If you don’t already have tickets, [VIP tickets are are available directly from Rangers](https://hospitality.rangers.co.uk/en-GB/hospitality/harry%20styles-%20love%20on%20tour/2022-6-11_16.00/ibrox%20hospitality%20lounges).

The sound system at Ibrox has been upgraded in the last few years and it is LOUD and clear. Of course this will also be supplemented with concert specific equipment.

As others suggested, hotel in the city centre is your best option.

Getting to and from the event on the night:

Subway - best option - pay in the station, takes 15 minutes. There is a station named Ibrox so you won’t miss it.

Buses: First Bus service 9 or 10. McGills buses number 38. You can pay on the bus using contactless/apple pay or cash. Or buy tickets before travel on the First Bus app. Personally would avoid the bus after the event due to traffic.

Taxi’s are fine to the event, but will be unlikely to be anywhere in sight afterwards due to the traffic. You can hop in one at any of the city centre ranks. Most hotels have one close by. Uber is here but the service has deteriorated massively. There is a Glasgow Taxis app that you can download and use to hail a taxi and get a fixed price similar to uber. You can also pay by card through this. Not all taxis you hail off the street will accept card. But all taxis booked through the app will.

American Express is not accepted everywhere so just be aware of that, although I rarely encounter Amex issues these days unless it’s a small retailer. Discover is not accepted many places.

If your cards don’t already have contactless capability (some US providers have been slow on the uptake) it’s worth asking them upgrade you as it will make life a lot easier once you get here.

Food wise, another vote for Mr Singhs. If you like chinese food, Lychee Oriental is good too. Get drunk and then get a Doner Kebab to truly initiate yourself into Glasgow life. Just don’t ask what’s in it.
