We rented a one bedroom flat from a landlord in 2020 with 3 storage heaters. It was incredibly inefficient and expensive. We paid £250 a month in the winter. We topped up the meter which was another inconvenience. It was never warm. We didn't use the immersion heater as we couldn't afford it and just did the dishes with cold water.
