Is it all a big con? I get charged 50 quid a quarter for stuff and was just kinda *told* I was when we moved in. They don't seem to do anything.
We've been charged 150 to fix a river embankment a mile away, which is 50 grand in total. Isn't that the council's job? What if I said no?
