The comments are full of it and you knew exactly what you were doing. I doubt a homeless person is walking into Frasers and buying designer clothing, which is kind of the inference here - that he can afford expensive clothes, so he shouldn’t be asking for help. He could have been given them as a gift, bought them from a charity shop, or he could have bought them before his luck changed. Not everyone is born homeless. Circumstances change. Having worked in high street & luxury fashion retail for most of my life, I’m not naive enough to say that they couldn’t possibly have been stolen…but that also doesn’t correlate with the narrative in the original post.
