Why do I say this you ask? Well then let me tell you my story. Even though I had been a loyal customer with many cars over many years from them. My last MOT of my last ever Arnold Shark car, I call up six weeks before the due date for an MOT because I do not like running around at the last minute. The only date they can give me is the day before the MOT is due. I should have smelled a rat right there. Reluctantly I agree because I am a trusting mug. During the MOT they tell me I need around £1500 quids worth of work to pass the MOT because the front bushings have excessive play and you cannot simply replace the bushes you need to replace the entire support with genuine Toyota parts as they are not available as aftermarket parts. I demand my keys back and leave. I take my car to another independent MOT station, explain the situation and they tell me apart from a bulb, the car is an MOT pass, however my two front bushes have some play but at this point they are only an ADVISORY. I ask how much to do the work and they say £14 for each (aftermarket) bushing and about two hours of work.
